Who is Haato Tenshi? Tenshi is a very intellectual girl who grew up in a family of smart people. Her mother, a researcher at Tokyo University, encouraged her daughter to play with chemistry sets at a young age. Her father, a marine biologist taught her to love athletics and sports. As a result, she's a fairly well-rounded, balanced person. However, despite her intelligence she does not brag about it or go out of her way to show it. She's not a genius, just hardworking and very analytical. Tenshi is also fairly quiet and introverted--but more importantly, she's very introspective. She understands herself well and likes to try and understand others through analyzing their personalities. She rarely if ever says anything disagreeable or unkind, preferring to keep any negative feelings to herself as she'd rather not start a confrontation. Although she's a quiet person, she does not wish to be more outgoing or extroverted. On the contrary, she's quite happy with who she is. That's not to say she's a loner or antisocial, in fact she likes people very much--but she knows that quiet girls don't make friends easily, so she's found other ways to have acquaintances. Unlike the other Zodiac Senshi, she discovered what she believed to be a special ability to levitate objects. With this ability, she took up playing sports at a young age. With her skills she made many friends as she was always able to get the ball in the basket or kick the ball into a net. She realizes she's cheating, but she has rationalized that it is a harmless deed that hurts no one. Of all her friends, Tenshi likes and cares about Nakayama Ameko the most. Perhaps because Tenshi can sense that beneath Ameko's smile is a very sad person. Tenshi considers it her job as a friend to take care of Ameko and watch out for her. As the Zodiac Senshi Sailorvirgo, Tenshi tends to not attack unless it is absolutely necessary. Nonetheless, she has saved the Zodiac Senshi many times and has also saved the Sailor Senshi. Usually, attacking is completely unneccessary for her to do, because her latent ability to control gravity is usually more useful than her attacks Attacks & Powers Virgo Cosmic Star Power, Make Up Tenshi raises her henshin stick to the sky and white wind appears around her and lifts her up as it sworls around her. The jets of air turn into a white ribbon that continues to wrap around her until her uniform magically appears. Gravity Crush (Offensive Attack) In this attack, Virgo raises her hands above her head and a white ball appears which she slams to the ground. The ball races towards the enemy and strikes them with a massive force. Anti-Gravity Illusion (Defensive Attack) Virgo spins around as she says this and a white ribbon flies towards her enemies and strikes them. They then start to feel as though there is a lack of gravity around them and loose balance. Author's Comments Tenshi...mm, where to begin? I got the inspiration for her looks from Viluy. I don't know, I just really liked the hair. As for the angel references, well, the book I used to research the Zodiac signs in decided to depict Virgo as a big blue virgin with wings. Strange. However, the image stuck in my head and carried on to Virgo...and in the rewrites, the whole "angel" thing has more symbolism. :) As for the gravity thing...well, its original, isn't it? You certainly won't be seeing other Sailor Virgo's controlling gravity. ^_~ The idea originally came from the whole angel thing. What can angels do? Fly, right? Well, how could she fly? How about if she controlled gravity! Amazing! LOL. What can I say, my mind works in really strange ways. Its been pointed out numerous times that 1) that makes her insanely powerful and 2) how the hell could she control gravity? Well, as for point #1...yes, it does make her insanely powerful. #2, well, she has a problem understanding that too. But how the hell does Sailormars shoot fire from her hands? ^_~ Magic, silly. Gravity, as a force of nature, might as well be magic. We really have no idea how it works or why it works...it just does and we accept it.
