Okay, here's some general stuff:
- The Ladies do not *always* wear their crowns. But in some cases, it's inescapable.
ie, when it's part of their hairstyle.
- Don't think of crowns as always being the stereotypical image of a pointy crown.
I use it as a general image for their royal headdresses.
- As for the cultures, please do not be overly stereotypical or archetypal. Please don't draw Pandora
standing by the sphynx. Their cultures are NOT the same as the ones on Earth, thus they should only have
slight hints of it in their dress (inspired, if you will). You do not need to pay any attention to the
culture if you don't want to.

Maia de Suisei / Sailorsuisei [Mercury]:
Hair: Long navy blue hair bound up in two ponytails at the nape of her neck.
They do *not* stick out. The ponytails are held in place with silver bands.
The ponytails themselves are in essence a giant french-curl. She has no bangs,
rather she has two large French curls framing her face, like Juri from Shoujo
Kakumei Utena.

Juno de Kasei / Sailorkasei [Mars]:
Hair: Long blood-red hair that reaches almost to her feet. At the back of her head her
hair is wrapped in two coils/rings. You can partially see part of the ring from either
side of her head. The rings are usually wrapped in some sort of jewels or fabric.

from Gladiator.

Hair: She has long golden hair which is tied up in a braid that reaches her knees.
Woven into the braid is an orange ribbon as well as a string of gold (another color
than her hair) beads which is actually an extension of her crown.
Crown: Her crown is actually part of the beads in her braid. The crown is a string of
golden beads which sits atop the top of her head and dips down to a V over her forehead.
A large orange jewel hangs between her eyebrows.

from Shoujo Kakumei Utena, but a bit thicker than that. If you look at the Russian 
image of the Neo Senshi in the Neo Senshi gallery, the artist drew Pluto's hair just
as I'm thinking in my head.
