About the Artist of the Sailormoon Millennia Trilogy:

Akechi is the official artist of the Sailormoon Millennia Trilogy. This means he draws "official" art with the right colors, hairstyles, etc. This does not make him the "best" artist, on the contrary, he has never submitted previous fanart. As he has never read the series, he has not developed mental images of the characters and is able to draw strictly based on description and Janelle's direction.

He is a professional industrial/product designer who has designed for ElectroLux and other companies. He plays/watches soccer in his spare time.
